Last week I was speaking with a leader in aerospace manufacturing and they are now looking at a possible longer-term pivot into medical device manufacturing.
He asked me - How do we tell that story?
I thought this is a great question because it is applicable to lots of companies that may have identified a new direction but are struggling with how to position themselves effectively. Plus, it’s applicable to people who have recently lost their jobs and thinking those jobs won’t exist anymore.
If you’re looking at a pivot, you are going to need to create a new narrative about how where you come from, your background and experience provides value to this new market. This video highlights the first thing you need to do for a successful pivot and story.
